So you want to enter that as text message?

If you would like to make it so that we have drop down menus of exercises and boxes to fill in time and reps that would be nice. I don't know what it would take to set it up so I won't ask for much so text would work, too.

It would be nice if it was so we could see a graph of our progress, but, again, I'm not doing the coding...

Thank you for this opportunity!!

Even though text message is easier, it would be a bit clumsy, and hard to chart based on messages.

As to sets and reps, that's already in my list of things to do. What I have in mind is organizing exercises by body part, and then by the muscle and workout name (like the hierarchy from exrx.net), and then entry fields for sets, reps and weights.

Sounds like that's you're talking about, and if so, it's definitly in the plan

There's a new exercise section on the menu "Resistance logs".

Enjoy

Hi, I have to admit that I haven't read all the pages of this thread, though I've skimmed them all, so this may be a redundant question, but could you guys add just regular mayonnaise to the My P.L.A.N.? I couldn't find it anywhere, though I found a bunch with reduced calorie ones, etc. Regular old Hellman's Real Mayonnaise has 0 carbs, and I use it, but it's not available on the list. If I'm missing it or looking in the wrong place, please let me know! Thanks! What a wonderful resource it is overall though!

*Updated: Figured out the custom foods instruction and added it. Oops.

Regular Hellman's/Best Foods mayo has a few carbs. The FDA law allows manufacturers to print 0 on the label if the count is less than 0.5g. It's okay to count it as 0g carbs if you don't use more than the suggested serving listed on the label (1 Tablespoonful). If you use a cup of it in a recipe, though, then the carb count would be about 8g carbs.

You might choose "Salad dressing, mayonnaise, soybean oil, with salt" from the list. The Hellman's/Best Foods I use is made with soybean oil. Even for the kind that claims to be made with olive oil, the majority of the oil used to make the mayo is still soybean oil. Check the ingredients on the label of the type you use.

It sounds wonderful!!

Do you have any idea when that might be available? (a month, 6 months, 6 weeks,...) Nothing I would hold you to, I'm just curious.

Many thanks,

Donna

Not that long, I'd say a week or two. If you don't see it by then, feel free to remind me

I don't know if this has already been mentioned or not (I read the entire thread a while ago and I don't remember!)... When adding a food to the day, it always goes into "Breakfast". Is there a way to have it default to the last meal recorded, so we would only have to remember to change it for the first item?

Yeah, Wa'il, mine has been doing the same thing, too, for the past 2 days. I thought mabe it was due to the tweaking you've been doing, and that it'd work itself out, but it hasn't. And now I see it's not just me!

There's one thing I don't like about this program....when you enter cutom food you have to make the serving based on weight. For instance, I entered the nutritional info for one slice of turkey lunch meat, not knowing the exact weight, and when I tried to enter 2 slices into the breakfast catagory I had to do it based on weight. Is there any way the custom foods can be entered as servings (rather than as weight) into the food entry?
